Each year for the past 5 years, Light of Day Niagara has acknowledged individuals who have helped Light of Day Niagara grow throughout the years.

The first award is named after Paul Pasmore who passed away in 2011. Paul was the President of the Niagara Chapter of the Parkison Society of Canada for many years and was actively involved in supporting many charitable efforts in Niagara including the Light of Day and the Parkinson Society of Canada. Light of Day Niagara introduced the Paul Pasmore Contribution Award which is given to a business or business person who has contributed to Light of Day Niagara through sponsorship and volunteering their time and resources since our inception.

The second award is named after Betty Sargeson who passed away in 2012. Betty supported Light of Day Niagara from the very first show and volunteered her time working at all of our shows, including the Summer shows. Betty also made the pilgrimage to Light of Day New Jersey several times before she passed. The Betty Sargeson Supporter Award is given every year to an individual who has volunteered their time and supported Light of Day Niagara over the years by coming to our shows and offering their time to volunteer.
